Timings of our school Day

Our school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm*

The school gates open at 8:30am and parents wait with children on the playground until a teacher comes out to meet them at 8:35am. Children can go straight  into school and into class where they will complete a morning activity during registration.

We find this allows the children to transition smoothly into school. It allows for an informal start to their day and means they are calm and ready to learn in their first lesson.

Our total hours of school each week (excluding any clubs or extras) is 32.5 hours.

*Nursery is slightly different depending on the session. Full day sessions run 8:45 to 3pm, morning sessions are 08:45 – 11:45 and lunch sessions are 8:45 – 1:15pm. Children are dropped off at the Early Years main door in a direct handover with a member of staff. Pick ups are from the main Early Years door for 11:45am and 3pm pick ups, 1:15pm pick ups are via the Early Years gate. This will all be confirmed with Parents/Carers when registering their child for Nursery.
