Welcome to our Wrap Around Care Provision! 

We understand that every family’s needs for childcare are different, which is why we offer a high degree of flexibility in our sessions. 

We offer wrap around care for 3-year-olds and above. This means you can drop your child off as early as 7.30 am and pick them up as late as 6.00 pm (5.00 pm on Fridays). We are happy to take regular or ad hoc bookings, so you can be sure of flexible childcare that fits your needs. Bookings can be made and paid for on our parent app MCAS up to the day before a session and last minute bookings can be requested via the school office.

Our wrap around care provides activities that keep your children engaged in a safe environment before and after school. We can support varied interests and activities for children aged 3 and above. 

From 28th April 2025, we are delighted to launch our free funded 30 minute breakfast club! Mickley First School is one of a number of pilot schools for this new Government initiative. From the summer term all children from Reception age upwards may access 30 minutes of free childcare each morning from 8.15 – 8.45 am. Places must be booked in advance on MCAS. This provision will run alongside our current paid breakfast club, which will continue to offer care from 7.30 am.
